InfinityBook Pro 15: TUXEDO’s Premium Ultrabook Puts Linux First

TUXEDO launches the ultra-thin InfinityBook Pro 15 with Ryzen AI 300 CPUs, full Linux support, and a massive 99 Wh battery.

TUXEDO Computers, a German Linux computer manufacturer, unveiled its newest powerhouse, InfinityBook Pro 15 Gen10, a premium business ultrabook that offers powerful performance, portability, and full Linux support.

First off, let’s talk about performance. This sleek machine packs AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 300 CPUs, designed specifically to deliver a perfect balance of speed and efficiency. At the entry level, the Ryzen AI 7 350 offers eight cores (16 threads) and adjustable power between 10 and 65 watts, handling everyday tasks with ease.

For those needing more juice, the Ryzen AI 9 365 bumps it up to 10 cores, while the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 sports 12 cores, pushing multi-core performance even further. But what’s impressive here is the Ryzen AI engine. With up to 80 trillion operations per second (TOPS) on the highest-end model, it’s a staggering 110% faster than its predecessor.

Graphics-wise, the InfinityBook Pro 15 leverages AMD Radeon 800M integrated GPUs, delivering up to 30% more performance than last year’s Radeon 780M. This means smooth sailing not just for productivity but even for mid-tier gaming at 1080p.

Despite all that power, this notebook manages to stay incredibly portable. Crafted from a sturdy yet ultra-thin aluminum chassis, it’s just under 20 mm thick and weighs only 1.75 kg. And with its huge 99 Wh battery—the largest permitted for air travel—you’ve got exceptional mobility without having to hunt for outlets constantly. Plus, flexible USB-C charging ensures you’re not stuck carrying multiple chargers.

InfinityBook Pro 15 boasts a bright, high-res 15.3-inch screen with a 2560×1600 resolution, covering 100% of the sRGB color space and reaching 500 nits brightness. There is also a full-featured keyboard—available in both ISO and ANSI layouts—with ergonomic touches like full-size arrow keys and a numeric keypad.

Regarding storage, it’s equipped with dual upgradeable slots supporting up to 128 GB DDR5-5600 RAM and a massive 8 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

Last but not least, true to TUXEDO’s reputation, the InfinityBook Pro 15 ships fully optimized for Linux users, with pre-installed drivers and in-house apps for the best Linux experience. It’s officially compatible with TUXEDO OS, Ubuntu 24.04, and Windows 11.

Starting at €1,299 for European customers (around €1,090 excluding taxes outside Europe), the InfinityBook Pro 15 is available for pre-order now, with shipping kicking off in mid-August.

The newest one seems to be Gen10. Their website just seems to link to the previous Gen9.
