Ventoy 1.1.10 Released With Wayland Fixes and musl libc Support

Ventoy 1.1.10 adds support for the musl libc, fixes Wayland GUI crashes, and improves boot reliability across Linux and Windows systems.

Ventoy, the popular multi-boot utility for creating bootable USB drives from ISO files, has just released a brand-new version, 1.1.10.

One of the most notable changes is the added support for musl libc environments in the Ventoy2Disk.sh installer script, which improves usability on lightweight and non-glibc distributions.

In parallel, a crash affecting the Linux GUI under Wayland has been fixed, resolving issues reported on modern desktop setups where the graphical interface could fail to start.

The release also addresses multiple boot-related problems. A Linux boot issue affecting Kylin Server V11 has been resolved, alongside a Windows boot failure that could occur when using F2 mode.

Additionally, Ventoy now correctly handles booting vhd.vtoy files stored on ext4 file systems, fixing a regression that impacted virtual disk workflows.

On top of that, Ventoy 1.1.10 expands its list of supported operating systems by adding AerynOS. Language updates are also included, continuing incremental improvements to localization and usability.

Alongside the Ventoy release, the Ventoy project continues to develop iVentoy, an enhanced PXE server and its companion solution for network-based operating system deployment.

It supports Legacy BIOS, IA32 UEFI, x86_64 UEFI, and ARM64 UEFI modes, and is compatible with more than 110 common operating system types, including Windows, WinPE, Linux, and VMware images.
