TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14: Where Elegance Meets Performance

TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14 Gen9: Ultra-slim and lightweight Linux laptop, with powerful AMD and Intel CPUs, perfect for business on the go.

Today, TUXEDO Computers, a German Linux computer manufacturer, unveiled the latest iteration of its highly anticipated subnotebook, the InfinityBook Pro 14โ€”Gen9, which sets a new standard for portable business computing.

The device merges exceptional durability, high-end specifications, and a user-focused design into a sleek all-aluminum chassis.

TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14: Key Features

Weighing just 1.47 kg and measuring a mere 17 mm thick, the InfinityBook Pro 14 boasts a compact footprint of 311 x 220 mm. Despite its slender profile, it doesn’t sacrifice performance.

The subnotebook offers a choice between the latest CPUs from Intel and AMDโ€”the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and AMD Ryzen 7 8845HSโ€”making it a powerhouse for both productivity and light gaming.

  • High-Resolution Display: The InfinityBook Pro 14 features a 14-inch 3K display, offering a pixel density of 243 ppi. With a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 100% sRGB color gamut, this IPS screen promises crisp, vibrant visuals whether you’re working indoors or out.
  • Robust Build: Transitioning from a plastic/magnesium blend, the new model sports an all-aluminum body that enhances the aesthetic and tactile experience without compromising weight or durability.
  • Thermal Management: Two 7 mm fans and several heat pipes ensure the device remains cool and quiet under pressure, allowing the CPUs to operate efficiently even at high power levelsโ€”up to 60 watts for the Intel model and 54 watts for the AMD model.
  • Flexible Keyboard Options: TUXEDO has catered to international users by offering ISO and ANSI keyboard layouts and a quiet, white backlit design.

The integrated graphics optionsโ€”Intel Arc or AMD Radeon 780Mโ€”support everyday tasks and moderate gaming, balancing performance with power efficiency.

Thanks to the substantial 80 Wh battery, users can expect up to 10 hours of video playback, with convenient USB-C charging capabilities.

Moreover, the device includes versatile connectivity options, supporting up to three external monitors through Thunderbolt 4 or USB4, depending on the model. It also features multiple USB ports and a full-size card reader.

For storage, the InfinityBook Pro 14 offers dual SSD slots and up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM, ensuring ample space and speed for all types of work.

The InfinityBook Pro 14 is available for pre-order starting at โ‚ฌ1,229 for the AMD model and โ‚ฌ1,339 for the Intel variant. Shipments are expected to begin by late August.

Each unit comes with TUXEDO OS (Ubuntu-based Linux distro) and optional Windows 11 compatibility, ensuring a versatile and user-friendly experience.
