The KeePassXC team has unveiled the latest version of its free & open-source password manager, KeePassXC 2.7.10, a community-driven fork of KeePassX, providing cross-platform support for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
The most striking change in this release is the brand-new Proton Pass importer, which streamlines the migration process for those switching from Proton Pass. Equally significant—and one of the most requested features—users can now adjust the application font size for better on-screen readability.
Furthermore, KeePassXC 2.7.10 includes refined icons for evaluating password strength. Another thoughtful touch is the character count in the password generator, ensuring you always know exactly how long your new password is. Those who frequently tweak their databases will also appreciate the new toolbar buttons that grant quick access to database settings and statistics.
The update also introduced a new “MIXED case” preset for the passphrase generator, giving users more flexibility when creating unique passphrases. If you prefer a clutter-free desktop, the command-line flag “–minimized” allows you to start KeePassXC in minimized mode.

Apart from the abovementioned changes, the new release brings expanded support for KeePass2 TOTP settings and a “New/Preview Entry Attachments” dialog. Meanwhile, power users will be delighted by improvements to the CLI, including a handy HTML export feature and a -d dry-run
shortcut for the merge command.
On the bug-fix side, the KeePassXC team has paid close attention to ironing out quirks in CSV imports and fine-tuning the UI for a more polished interface. Mac users, in particular, gain important updates like the option to disable database lock when switching users, along with critical under-the-hood fixes for screen recording permissions and Secure Input Mode.
